About Your Placenta

Your baby, as an embryo, is nourished by a tiny yolk sac during the beginning of your pregnancy. By the end of your first trimester the placenta takes over the job of sustaining your baby's needs.
Your placenta is the only organ you will ever grow specifically to sustain life. It is the only organ that is grown and expelled at the end of its use. It is the way your baby will survive in the womb. Your baby's hormone and blood regulator. The Tree of Life, in the flesh. What a remarkable and interesting organ. Of the 4,000 living mammals on our planet almost all of them consume their placenta for the healing benefits following the birth of their offspring.
